General Rules

  • All matches will be played with a Tennis ball.
  • Each team will consist of 3 players.
  • Teams will be divided into 4 pools (A,B,C,D) with 4 teams in each Pool.
  • In round 1 each team will play 2 other teams within the same pool.
  • The Winner for each Pool will advance to the SemiFinals.
  • The loss of a wicket will result in a reduction of 5 runs from the team total per occurence.
  • Team that does not loose any wickets will be rewarded with 5 bonus runs. The "Net Runs" scored (runs scored + bonus runs - the runs deducted for OUTs) in those 3 overs (Semis 4-Overs, Finals-4 Overs) will be tallied for each team.
  • When all 3 players of the batting team are dismissed the team still continues to play but further loss of a wicket will result in a reduction of 5 runs from the team total per occurence. Team that does not loose any wickets will be rewarded with 5 bonus runs.
  • Players getting dismissed gets his chance to bat again only after all the remaining players in the team are dismissed.
  • .At the choice of the bowling team, a fourth player from the field may be chosen to bowl 1 Over of the alotted Overs.
  • Atleast 2 players from the bowling team must bowl at least one over.
  • Each innings shall consist of 3 overs with each member of the fielding team bowling 3 alternate overs. However, Semi-finals and Finals will be 4-overs a side.
  • During each innings, the two members of the batting team shall play according to the normal rules of cricket as set out above, except that each team will complete his quota of overs irrespective of their batsmen?s dismissals.
  • No LBWs will be awarded and No Leg Byes.
  • Wide and No balls will not be rebowled except the last over. Wide and No balls will constitute 2 runs.

Tie - Breaking Rules.

If games end in a tie, then the winner will be decided by the following rules.

If All 4 Teams in Pool Wins One Game Each ? The Winner of the Pool who will advance to the Semi Finals will be decided by the following Rules.
